Small, accessible classes designed for all levels of practice 

At Soleful Beginnings, we skillfully integrate physical movement with energy flow and breathwork, with a focus on relaxation and rejuvenation. Our classes are small, adaptable and accessible for all levels of practice. We encourage exploration of poses and offer individualized support with adjustments and variations of poses to get the most out of your practice. Each class has a theme that we will explore on a physical, mental, emotional, and energetic level. Classes will be sprinkled with energy healing modalities such as Reflexology, Reiki and/ or Acupressure/Marma point work.

Yoga & Meditative Movement Classes

Restorative Yoga & Reiki Classes

A long, slow, grounding practice that stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system (responsible for calming us). At most, a session consists of 3-5 poses over the course of an hour to ninety minutes. Due to its gentleness, simplicity, and many benefits, restorative yoga is for everyone at any skill level! It is also highly adaptable to your individual needs. Reiki is given intuitively throughout the class.

Yin Yoga Classes

A gentle practice where the focus is on finding your edge in the pose. The focus, differing from restorative, is on the stretch. Poses are held for 3-5 min, which allows for energetic movement with a focus on the energetic meridians and centers of the body. Self reflexology, Reiki & positional therapy are integrated into the practice.

Qigong Classes

Practiced for thousands of years in China, Qigong is one of the five pillars of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) which include Herbs and Dietary Regulation, Acupuncture and Moxibustion, and Chinese Massage. The exercises combine movement, mental focus, and breath regulation that act together to direct the flow of Qi (vital energy)

Private Yoga & Qigong Sessions

Looking for an individualized session?  These sessions are geared towards your specific goals and interests. We offer both Yoga and Qigong sessions to address your specific needs and goals.  We also offer private classes for up to 8 participants.

Yoga Nidra

This practice consists of a guided meditation that allows the participant to drop into a dream- like state. This practice creates space for healing of our unconscious programming and relaxation. Each meditation will consist of a variety of different relaxation techniques such as body awareness and progressive relaxation, breathwork and visualizations.

Holy Fire Healing Experience

These experiences use guided meditation and Reiki energy to bring about a sense of healing and relaxation. These special experiences can be geared towards specific healing outcomes or can be used in general sense to help ease stress and tension in the body. Anyone can participate; You do not need prior knowledge of the Reiki energy to experience benefits from this practice of stillness and self-healing.
